Discount Photo Paper
Aug 24th, 2009 by admin

Should you use discount photo paper to print your photographs at home?  Absolutely!  Sometimes people hear the word “discount” and they think it means cheaply made or low quality.  But, that isn’t the case with all products and it certainly isn’t the case with photo paper.  Don’t get me wrong.  There is definitely such a thing as low quality photo paper.  But, it doesn’t follow that all discount priced paper is low quality.  Sometimes you may only need lower quality paper for printing your photographs and that type of paper costs less than the higher quality paper.  But, you can also purchase very high quality photo paper at a discount.  If your project is imporatnt and you want it to look outstanding then you should use excellent paper.  However, don’t feel you have to pay top dollar to get the best.  Purchase your high quality photo paper at a discount.  Please check us out at Photo Paper Pro for tips and resources where you may purchase high quality paper at discount prices.

Railroad Lanterns as Collectibles
Aug 24th, 2009 by admin

One of the wonderful collectibles I love to look for when I go out to estate sales is the beautiful yet rustic, railroad lanterns.  Collectors of railroad lanterns appreciate not only their inherent beauty, but also the rugged elegance that comes with a history of working the nation’s rails.  Train memorabilia abounds and there are many train enthusiasts who set up special train rooms just to run their model trains and display their railroad decor.  In my opinion, no such room is complete without one or two well placed lanterns.  These lights guided the rail workers at night and helped them to navigate safely through the dark nights as they delivered the goods that helped keep the country moving ahead even during the toughest of times.

Got 70’s Clothes?
Aug 24th, 2009 by admin

If you have been dreading going through the old bags of clothes stashed away in your attic or some other part of your home, you may have some new motivation to start digging.  Older clothes are quite the hot item on auction sites like eBay and in trendy retail establishments.  Specifically clothes from the 80’s and 1970’s clothes are gaining some serious popularity among retro and vintage clothing fans.

For whatever reason, people are paying some pretty impressive prices for hot items like old concert t shirts that people bought back in the day and then put in to storage.  Other vintage fashions, such as disco outfits, are also quite the rage.  I can’t say that I’ve seen any disco wear appearing in my neck of the woods, but the old concert t’s are being reproduced and I have seen some being worn that look pretty darn old.  So get out those old duds and take a picture of them.  Someone might be willing to pay you handsomely for what you considered rags.
