American Gold Eagle Proof Coins
Sep 15th, 2009 by

For gold bullion investors looking to enhance their portfolios with an American Gold Eagle bullion coin that is a cut above the standard release, American Gold Eagle Proof versions are collectible versions of the popular coin, minted exclusively for collectors.

Proof editions are variations of the standard bullion coins that have been strictly limited production numbers and are created using specially burnished coin blanks that are manually run through specially formatted dies that are designed to give the coin a highly detailed finish. Each coin is pressed multiple times in the production process, with greater contrast and detail added as each new strike is achieved.

This process gives creates a cameo effect on the raised foregrounds, while the background surface displays a mirror-like, highly-polished surface. If you have the opportunity to handle a proof gold coin, you should notice your own reflection in the coin’s background.

At the conclusion of the production process, United States Mint workers provide a thorough inspection on each specimen, after which the coin is sealed sonically in a protective clear case.

The appeal of these beautiful American Eagle Gold Proof Coins have caught the attention of thousands of numismatists and gold bullion investors, seeking to enhance their gold bullion portfolios and collections.

Family and Financial Security Combine in Hollister, CA

Families considering Hollister CA homes for sale will find Hollister’s warm, family-friendly atmosphere appealing. Over half of Hollister’s households consist of families with children, so there will be plenty of playmates in this city of nearly 35,000 residents. The county seat of San Benito County, Hollister was founded by local ranchers in 1872 who named the town after a local sheep rancher, Colonel W. W. Hollister. The city has grown rapidly since then, but has retained its rustic charm.

Investors may wish to investigate Hollister CA homes for sale since they have held their value surprisingly well in the recent housing slump, performing ten percent better than average for California. This makes Hollister a wise choice for families and real estate investors alike. Hollister combines financial stability and a family-oriented community, making it a great place to call home.

Why Winnie The Pooh Should Have Been A Beekeeper

Winnie the pooh might not be the brightest animal in the hundred acre woods, but he is one of the sweetest, and there is no denying that he loves honey.  He is always raiding the wild bee hives for honey, and can never get enough of it.   But what is Winnie the Pooh bought some bee keeping equipment and started harvesting his own honey?  It would save him a heap of trouble.

It would also mean he could make himself a little money.  He would probably eat all of the honey himself (and who could blame him), but I am sure that industrious Rabbit and family oriented Kanga would buy beeswax to make into candles, and then Pooh would not only have a supply of honey, but also an income.  So maybe Winnie the Pooh should bee a  beekeeper.  It would probably make him happy.
