Path lighting has been popular with homeowners since the introduction of low voltage lighting made adding path lighting so quick, easy and inexpensive. What you may not be aware of is that there is another option for lighting up paths, walkways and patios that are constructed from popular paving stones. These lights are known as patio paver lights and are made to be used within the path, walkway or patio itself instead of on the outside of the as the traditional stake mounted path light fixtures are.
The paver lights install flush with the path so they are hardly noticeable until nightfall, when they do their job of illuminating the path, walkway or patio they are installed in. While they can be installed into existing walks by removing paving stones and replacing them with the paver lights, the easiest way to install them is to place them when the pathway is being constructed. If you like the idea of path lighting, but would prefer something less obtrusive, you might want to give paver lights a try.
