As you walk down the busy streets of Disneyland, you may notice quite a few people with pin covered lanyards draped around their necks. In the year 2000, the official Disney pin trading began and with it came an onslaught of pins themed after some of Disney’s favorite characters that we all know and love. Pin trading is not only a hobby, to some, it is an obsession and to those, they desperately search for the beloved Hidden Mickey Pins. These pins have a small silhouette of Mickey located somewhere on the cover of the pin and are vastly popular among collectors. To those of you who own a Hidden Mickey Pin, hold on to it for a long time as its guaranteed to be of value some day.
