My friend Mike recently graduated from college. Since we go back a bit, I wanted to get him a present, but I like to be a little unusual with the presents I get him. You know what I mean– it’s no fun to be friends with someone so long that you can remember the strange things they used to do with pasta, pickles, and their braces if you’re just going to be getting them the same ordinary argyle sweater that everybody else gives.
So when Mike graduated, I decided to give him a BlackBerry Storm car charger. As a subtle reminder. Because, Mike is always just about totally impossible to reach on his phone. I’m always teasing him about what the point is in having such an expensive phone if no one can ever reach you on it.
