Learning to Travel
Nov 2nd, 2009 by admin

I takes a while to learn how to travel the world. At first, you’ll make dumb mistakes all the time. You’ll forget your passport, you’ll forget to lock your hotel door, you’ll make friends with shady people who are bad influences or worse, you’ll get sick, you’ll get lost, and you’ll get depressed and lonely and exhausted. With time, however, you’ll learn how to take care of yourself, take care of your possessions, and take care of your sanity. One of the main keys to this is giving yourself permission to chill out and not do anything, even for days on end. This is much easier to do when you are traveling for a long period of time, but it’s also necessary when you are going for just a short while. This is especially important if you are traveling with another person, because let’s face it: we humans need space in order to get our heads straight and to stay calm and happy!

Using the Internet for Travel
Aug 17th, 2009 by admin

In the old days, the only people who could truly afford to travel were the rich and well to do. These people of leisure had the economic freedom and enough spare time to travel the world at a relaxed and even pace while the vast majority of the rest of their contemporaries toiled away their days in the fields or factories of an often unforgiving world. Luckily for us, the modern world has made traveling both more affordable and much easier and, thanks to the internet, you can find just about anything you need related to travel at the tips of your fingers. Whether you are searching for cheap and inexpensive plane tickets or perhaps some much needed Asia travel tips, the internet is your one stop shop for all your inner travel bug desires. Unlike the old days, this modern innovation has put the world of international travel at all of our disposals and, unlike our predecessors; you no longer need to be a millionaire to make your travel plans a reality.
