Interesting Travel Stories
Oct 13th, 2009 by admin

All of my best travel stories have one thing in common. Me being completely out of my element in a country I know little to nothing about where the language they speak might as well be Martian for all I know. There’s nothing quite like being surrounded by a sea of perceived chaos and having to force yourself to lay back, relax and go with the flow. I’ll never forget wandering into a random cheese shop in the middle of Nowhere-in-particular, France and spending the next half hour trying to act out in a complicated display of charades exactly how much of which kind of cheese I’d like to buy. Especially complicated since how much of which kind was basically a completely arbitrary decision on my part since I knew absolutely nothing about what types of cheeses these might be or what they would taste like when I finally managed to get them out of the store and onto the dry baguette that was intended to serve as my lunch that afternoon. Eventually, however, I walked out with a smile on my face a spring in my step and stinky cheese on my baguette all the happier for having had the unusual experience.

How To Find Duffel Bags Which Suit Your Lifestyle
Sep 8th, 2009 by admin

If you think that duffle bags are still the ugly, squat things used by military personnel, think again. The newer generation of bags are still as durable and roomy but are made with a great deal more style and beauty. Versatility, flexibility and durability are the three things which make duffel bags the bag of choice for so many athletes and professionals on the go.

It can be hard to find a duffel bag since there are so many choices available on the market today. By narrowing down what you will be using yours for you will be able to pick the right bag for you much more quickly and easily.

People who will be using their bags for travel purposes may want to find one which is as large and roomy as possible. You may want to look for a model which lacks interior dividers or which has dividers which are removable. If you do plan to stuff your bag to capacity you will want to make sure that it has reinforced seams and industrial strength zippers. A bag which is made out of a more durable material such as canvas may be heavier but it will last you longer before it needs to be replaced or repaired

Travel Agents

People who wok as travel agents often face an unpopular stereotype as schemers and unscrupulous business men and women. However, the reality is that more often than not these are hard working individuals offering an important and valuable service. First and foremost amongst travel agents is Pete of the website Pete’s travel tips– an online travel resource catering to both the novice and well seasoned traveler alike. As far as honest brokers go, Pete and his staff are top notch professionals and their advice and experience shows in everything they do. From the minute you first get in touch with Pete, the difference he offers shows and shines. Aside from being meticulously honest and focused to detail, Pete’s staff is knowledgeable and it shows. They know all the greatest deals and they have personal experience traveling so they have established actual relationships across the globe. Rather than go it willy nilly, or buy into the negative stereotypes, I strongly suggest you try a travel agent the next time you book a vacation.
