Over the years I have watched the development of solar lights with interest. Only a relatively short time ago solar lights were expensive, unweildy and not very effective. However, design and manufacturing improvements, coupled with a greater focus on environmentally friendly products has meant that solar lights have developed rapidly to the point where you can now use solar lights in almost any outdoor lighting situation where you previously had to use traditional outdoor lighting solutions. The ease of installation of solar lighting has meant that they look like they may well become the dominant exterior lighting product. We shall have to wait and see if that does happen. In the mean time I suggest that if you are considering installing outdoor lighting on your garden or back yard plot then you really should look at solar powered lights to achieve your required objective.
